About the Role

As our Treasury & FX Risk Manager, you'll be at the heart of safeguarding Kira against currency fluctuations and steering regulatory alignment with central banks in countries like Colombia. You will design, oversee, and optimize our currency forward contracts, ensuring we stay compliant while minimizing exposure to foreign exchange volatility.

In this role, you'll:

• Collaborate with Compliance to interpret and fulfill central bank mandates—especially in Colombia and other dynamic LATAM markets.

• Architect, monitor, and manage currency forward contracts that hedge against potential FX risks.

• Analyze projected currency floats and proactively act to mitigate downside scenarios.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, Finance, Legal, and Compliance, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

• Implement robust controls, documentation standards, and audit-ready processes for all FX hedging and compliance tasks.

• Support efforts to streamline FX operations via system enhancements or automation.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in trading FX futures, forwards, and other derivatives, with a solid knowledge of hedging strategies and market dynamics.

• Interest in crypto markets and the use of stablecoins to enable efficient cross-border payments

• Based in CDMX or Bogota

• Proven knowledge of central bank regulations—experience with Colombia or other LATAM countries is a strong asset.

• Fluent in English; professional proficiency in Spanish is a plus, especially for Colombian market engagement.
